Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) qualification awarded by PUMS is recognized worldwide and can be used to apply for a local medical licence in most countries in the world. In order to do so a medical graduate has to fulfil the destination country’s national or state medical board requirements, usually involving an examination or a series of examinations and an internship period.
